Video-based running analysis for Physeli’s

Do you run regularly but keep struggling with aches and pains? Or do you simply want to run more efficiently and injury-free? Our video-based running analysis will help you to optimize your running style and achieve your goals.

Why a running analysis?

Running is one of the most popular sports worldwide – but also one of the sports with the highest overuse-related injury rates. The causes are manifold: training volume, tissue quality, biomechanics, physiological and psychosocial factors all play a role.

A professional running analysis helps you to recognize and specifically improve movement deviations. The goal: better performance, fewer complaints and more enjoyment of running in the long term.

This is how the analysis works

We start with a short medical history with specific questions about your current situation, complaints and goals. We then analyze your running style on the treadmill and evaluate the video recordings together with you.

If there are any abnormalities, we will discuss and test specific changes to your running style so that we can assess the results immediately. The focus here is on identifying the causes and effects of possible movement deviations.

If necessary, we will arrange a follow-up appointment to check the long-term results and document your progress.

What you should bring to the running analysis

  • Your usual running shoes
  • Short running pants
  • For optimal video analysis, preferably free of upper body or sports bra
  • If you are currently experiencing discomfort when running: a doctor’s prescription for physiotherapy is an advantage

Would you like to have your running style professionally analyzed and tackle running-related complaints in the long term? Then book your appointment now – we look forward to seeing you!
