Phase 4: Return to Sport

Phase 4 – Useful info

At this stage, the rehab plan should be highly individualized. The therapy is sport-specific and aims to lead the athlete safely and confidently back to sport. Keyword “Mental Readyness”. Not only the injury, but the person as a whole should be the focus here!

When can you go back to sports?

The general literature talks about 9 months – but this always depends on the individual rehab progress . The objectives of the previous phases should be met in any case.

Phase 5: Prevention Re-Injury

PHASE 5 – Useful info

A simple way to incorporate a prevention program would be to have at least a 10 minute program before your workout. It is recommended to carry out a preventive program for the duration of the entire course.
