Remember those infographics where there’s a person with a rounded sitting position and a red X, and a person with a straight sitting position and a green check mark?

Unfortunately, these pictures still hang in many offices, but they are no longer up to date. Much research in recent years has shown us that there is no one correct sitting posture and it is not necessary to be upright all day.

It is much more important to change your sitting position regularly and to balance a predominantly sedentary lifestyle with regular exercise.

It’s not said for nothing that “the next posture is the best posture!”

Sitting is NOT the new smoking. Adopting a round or pleasant posture is safe. Moving and changing positions is important.
