Individualization of training in high-performance athletes is of great importance.

For recreational athletes and untrained individuals, individualized training is not superior to a standard program.

Principle of specificity 📍

The adaptation of the body depends on the specific stimulus set (training stimulus such as intensity, frequency, etc.).

However, a carryover is not automatically expected. Means, improving balance on the wobble board does not automatically improve balance on the surfboard.
